Extended Producer Responsibility or EPR is a notion where different manufacturers, various producer, and importers of products should perform a significant degree of duty and responsibility to check the environmental impacts of their products and check the quality throughout the process of product life-cycle system, including selection of base material and design of the product and then its packaging, efficient production process with minimum impact on nature, and also develop flawless mechanism for collection of post-consumed products and send it to recycle. Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is a policy approach under which producers are given a significant responsibility – financial and/or physical – for the treatment or disposal of post-consumer products. Assigning such responsibility could in principle provide incentives to prevent wastes at the source, promote product design for the environment and support the achievement of public recycling and materials management goals
